Busy life, work, cleaning, shopping, it’s very hard to keep a creative spark going. Adult responsibilities can make someone’s creativity go in the gutter. Being a prospect in the art field I feel I should always have that creative spark burning bright. Forcing my creativity and forcing myself to produce creative works seems to make my spark dampen more. But an artist without creativity seems like an oxymoron.
Sometimes switching mediums help, going from graphic work to painting, but not always does that help. At time the best thing an artist can do to make the spark come back is to step away from art as a whole.
The best thing to do is to rest and just wait for the spark to organically come back.
